I love kids! In addition to my amazing three kiddos you can usually find at least a couple more running around my backyard on any given day. Deanne calls my home a mad house, but I love it that way! I like to be goofy and keep things light-hearted. I believe in being personable; I’m happier picking up the phone and having a chat than sending emails—I leave that part up to my sis.
In addition to wedding and family photography I have specialized in children’s headshot photography for over 5 years now.
One of the things I’m most grateful for is that I get to work side by side with both my sister and my husband. My husband is an award winning wedding videographer and the reason I got into weddings to begin with. I’ve had the great fortune to work with him traveling to locations including, New York, Rhode Island, Napa, The Virgin Islands, Hawaii, and of course all over beautiful Southern California.
I’m an organization freak; lists, details, spread sheets bring it on! Yes, Danielle calls me dorky but I’ll ensure no photo or detail goes missed! I have 15+ years experience in television production and budgeting, but I jumped careers a couple years ago to join forces with my sis and do what I love--photography.While Danielle takes the lead at weddings, it is usually me doing the pre-wedding correspondences, gathering details and making sure you are excited, confident and prepared when your big day rolls around—which trust us it all goes fast so enjoy!
I have two beautiful kids, Dax and Daisy; and a creative husband who is a Steadi-cam Operator in the television business. My husband and I love to travel together and explore new places. My favorite part of traveling is the people I meet along the way.
